Silly LH-Jet question 200

What would happen if I were to disconnect the knock sensor from the ECU? Would the computer retard the timing significantly? Would it dump in lots of fuel like with the AMM disconnected?

Silly LH-Jet question 200

Thbe timing will be retarded. The engine will run hotter because of the retarded timing.

Silly LH-Jet question 200

The knock sensor is part of the ignition computer - completely separate from the LH (fuel) computer. The igniton computer would probably go into a limp-home type mode, and run a very retarded timing curve.

Do you have an LH-equipped car? Just curious, because the two Turbos in your sig don't have LH injection or knock sensors either.
