Ignition stays on 200 1983

When I turn the key off the ignition stays on, sometimes if when I can get it to turn off a Gost turns it back on,,,what gives here? Its a 83 244 turbo.

Ignition stays on 200 1983

I found exposed wires leading to the service socket for a remote starter, found that by fiddeling around wires then suddenly having the starter engage!
All is repaired, thanks!
