It is colder than a mother in law's kiss up here in Calgary and as luck would have it Mikey slipped on some ice getting into Sherman today (82 244) - reached out to stop himself from falling and got hold of the turn signal stalk. It is not broken per se but the indicator switch must have taken a beating because he now has to do some fancy tickling to get it to signal...any suggestions on where to get one online???

The turn signal lever / switch broke on my 93 240 last month. I got one from Foster's auto salvage in PDX, afterwards Don Foster (near Cape Cod) told me he probaly had several laying around he would sell. I've found them between $10 and $45 at salvage yards. As far as new goes, Id' guess the are fairly pricey. Give Foster a call, or maybe try www.car-parts.com. Is there a salvage yard with Volvos around Calgary? Not to difficult to get off. If you can't find any, let me know and I know of a Yard near Anchorage, that wants $20 for one plus shipping.

A new one with the cruise control on it will be around $130. My high/low switch went out last month.

Its a breeze to change. Take off the top and bottom steering column covers to get the switch off and the knee bolster to reach up into the dash to get at the cruise plug. 45 minutes top.
