Need a thin/small digital voltmeter, anyone know where I can find this? 200

I want to monitor voltage with a 3 or 4 digit liquid cristal miniature display.

It must be thin and about 3/8 inch high digit at an affordable price. It will be glued on the dash trim and will give me the actual voltage under various conditions; cold, hot, low and high rev. No backlight necessary.

NO... the 51 mm Volvo voltmeter is not an option!

Anybody has seen this for sale somewhere?

    Yes.

    Visit MCM Electronics (click me) and enter "digital panel meter" in the search window.

    Click on item #60-2960.

    Description is:

    3-1/2 Digit LCD Panel Meter

    Monitor DC voltage for any 12V system, especially high power car audio system where good voltage output is essential. Features include: Auto polarity, single 9-12VDC operation, decimal point and selectance, 13mm figure height, high impedance 200mV full scale input sensitivity. Dimensions: 2-5/8" x 1-3/4".

    $13.50 in single quantity, $11.25 each if ordering four or more.

      Don,

      MCM electronics seems interesting and the price is right.

      But, it seems my w95 enters an illegal operation and my Netscape 4.7 thows me out before I can see the site.

      Am I too obsolete?

      I though I am only retired...

        Not you (or me), their site has a major flaw. I bet they built it using MS Frontpage.

        It does the same when I view it using Netscape (4.8) running on WinNT.

        Open the site using IE or Opera.

          must be a bug. works fine in IE6 and Netscape 7.

            Could be a bug, or it might be that they're using xml, I haven't looked. NS 4.x doesn't handle xml, but NS 6 and 7 do, IE does, Opera does.

    I would try RadioShack or Sprawl-Mart...
