Clunky Front End 200

Clunkity clunk front end. All bolts super tight. Could my rear A arm bushings be sliping in their brackets?

Does it clunk when you bounce the stationary car? If so have big friend bounce the car whilst you listen with a mechanic's stethoscope.

how are your ball joints? To check, jack up the car slightly and grab the road wheel at 12 and 6 o'clock(top and bottom) and give it a shake, there shouldn't be any play.Could also be the upper strut mounts.

I had a pretty "clunky" front end on mine and it turned out to be the rubber in the upper strut mounts/bearings was hammered. Replaced them and it's now as quiet as a microscopic rodent! Of course, this allowed wife.mil to start noticing all of the clunks in the back of the car...
