I’ve got 740 gle 16 valve. Something confuses me. All injectors injects fuel at the same time. I don’t know is that O.K. Injector system is L.H.2 Jetronic. Is anyone can explain, why injectors are working that way; Is the fuel consumption higher in this case; is anything wrong with injecting system?
By the way what is check valve?

    Check valve keeps pressure to the fuel line after you turn off your car. Otherwise you would have to resupply fuel to entire line to start your car everytime. You can tell if it's bad if it's slow to fire after sitting for a few hours or so. Good luck with your 16v. Mine drives very well for +200k.

      My brick is always slow to fire after sitting for a few hours - overnight especially. Where is this service valve and can it be serviced?

    They're SUPPOSED to all inject at once - it's not direct into the cylinders on the inlet stroke, what's happening is that the four injectors are putting an even distribution of fuel into the inlet manifold ready for induction. It would work with one or two or twenty-two injectors, it's just that four makes sense for a four cylinder engine. Hope that helps.

    It would cost more to have each individual injector fire at the same time. Parallel operation is cheaper. Fewer lines of code too.
