Calling the Volvo 242 rally guys from New York (Skip??) 200

I hope you find this message, as I'd like to get ahold of you to see if you are running any of the winter rallies up here in Canada. I am the crazy blond guy who's always cheering you on up here in Ontario...so are you running any rallies up here? I'd love to see you guys again, and if you need any help with things, my friend and I would be willing! welp, good luck this season either way!

I'm never far away. No, George and I won't be running any winter events in the Volvo. Two basic reasons. Any RWD car will be non competative in the snow. We would get smoked by any FWD car there. Tall Pines was a good example with the early snow. Second, this is rebuild season. The new 2.6 engine is going in, along with the Quaife CR M-45. We are also adding a '93 front clip and e-spec headlights to qualify for the SCCA ProRally events (20 year age rule). A new paint job next month and we will be about ready to go by spring. You don't see too many '93 two doors! BTW, George bought an old Quattro and will be doing some winter TSD stuff in upstate NY.
