I want a second Volvo 200

I have a 1986 240 wagan and I want to buy a 90 or 91 Volvo Sedan. My family can't understand why I want another Volvo. I love Volvos. They are truly amazing cars. The only other type of car that I would consider if I HAD to make payments would be the Mini Cooper.

I want another Volvo too! And make that another wagon. 855 is on my "want" list. I'm just waiting for the price to drop and having some available cash would probably be a good thing. Hmmm, If I get one, then I'd have 3 cars. I love my 89 245 too much (could you imagine it was initially bought with a "beater" purpose in mind?), almost to the point of obsession. I also love my 90 190E, but funny how it has taken a beater role at times. Both cars are cream puffy. Which one will go?

Tell them it is because you plan to bury the 86 wagon in the back yard, creating a very low-cost bomb shelter. Believe me - they'll leave you alone.

tippi: So...take your checkbook, check the classifieds, find another Volvo, and buy it. What does your family's opinion have to do with it, unless, of course, they're fronting the dough....

I know what you mean. I want another one too and I only have 10 of them. Get a 740 turbo, makes a cool addition to a 200 series.

    10 Volvos (62-91) and counting
