Wheel Swap questions 200 1983

Hello.
Here's the situation: I have an 83 240DL and an 83 turbo. The turbo was bought by its previous owner to take the turbo wheels for an 1800 he's restoring.
Questions: 1) Will the turbo wheels fit on the 1800? 2) If so, will the wheels from the DL fit the turbo?
Thanks

If he has an E or an ES, then they will fit fine. Maybe some other years of later 1800s too. At some point in the 122?1800 line the wheels were changed to the modern format 5 x 108. As far as the 240 goes, all the wheels interchange fine.

Just FYI, The wheels from the turbo fit the 1800. The same was not true in reverse. They seem to be (from the conversation I had) just a bit too deep. Ah well, the tires on the 'organ donor' are newer anyway.....(but I really wanted the cool turbo wheels :( )
Thanks

What wheels didn't fit on what car?

The DL wheels didn't fit on the Turbo?

The Turbo wheels didn't fit on the DL? The Turbo wheels *will* fit on the DL, but you might need to remove a retaining bolt or pin.

... Pick 'n' Pull had a half off sale.. unfortunately it didn't apply to the set of Virgos I picked up :-D

3 cars, 3 sets of wheels:
The old 1800 got the turbo wheels (they fit)
The turbo got the 1800 wheels (they don't fit quite right)
The DL will be donating its wheels to the turbo so's I can make it the driveable one. (These NEED to fit)
The old 1800 is not mine.
