Cam seal going? Should I replace? 900 1993

I've got an oil leak in my 940t. Seems to be coming from somewhere between the upper timing belt cover and the valve cover, right at the front of the engine. My brand new water pump is starting to get covered in oil, along with some of my exhaust gasket. I'm assuming it's the cam seal?

I had all seals and valve cover gasket replaced a year and a half ago when the timing belt was done. Is this possibly due to excess crankcase pressure? Or do these seals sometimes go bad before they're due?

I know I don't technically have a "flame trap" on my turbo engine, but is there an equivalent that might need cleaning?

Thanks very much for any advice!

-Ben

You may need to clean or replace the oil trap along with the associated hoses and fittings. The Y fitting just above the oil trap can get plugged. This Y fitting should be periodically replaced as the plastic becomes brittle with age and the Y breaks. If you have high crankcase pressure that may cure the seal leak. Removal of the timing belt cover should let you determine if it is the cam seal of the cam cover gasket which is leaking.
