Floors: paint & sound insulation... 444-544

Greetings,

I'm currently having the floors welded in my 544 and when I get it back I'm planning on putting an old set of the grey rubber-like floor mats in the car.

Q: Can any of you recommend a product to paint the new floor with on the underside and inside of the car?

Q: What should I used for sound dampening insulation underneath the grey material?
