VCOA Connecticut chapter members needed 700 1985

Hello. Recently I requested information on starting a Volvo Club of America chapter in Connecticut and in order to start a chapter in Connecticut, I need a minumum of 10 members to start, but there are other requirements that need to be met which I will take the responsibility of. There are VCOA chapters in Mass, NY, etc. but none where I live. I am 100% dead set on getting this in motion, but I need YOUR HELP. If you are interested I could really use the support! This national Volvo club is open to all regardless off year or model of vehicle. Even if you are just a Volvo enthuasiast you can be a member.     I'm in! I'll email you shortly. I've been wondering WHY in a state where every 5th or 6 th car is a Volvo, there is NO club chapter. And WHY as much as I enjoy the drives, the VCOA meets are always up in Vermont or someplace. Hmmm.
    I could picture the lot at Ocean Beach or Rocky Neck or Hammonasset full of Volvos for a summer show...
