throttle cable question. 200 1984

does anyone know if the throttle cable that fits the '76-'82 240's will fit my '84 240? there is one on eBay and it ends soon. it looks like the right one, but the seller told me it wouldn't fit.

any help is nice.

Maybe a call to the dealer might answer that question :-) 200 1984

or even FCP Groton or IPD.....I do this all the time. Even call dealers on procedure for performing some sorta service. Usually they are helpful.

Most likely different. They are manifold specific. The 84 would have the B23/b230 manifold. The pre 82s would have the kjet intake. The cables are the same except for length, but length is critical.
