drop out 700

my 760 turbo(1987) will drop to like 400 rpm when i blip the throttle. it'll rev to 2000 and drop to 400 then restore to the normal 750. what could this be? ignition(plugs, wires), airleak?, plain out dirty IAC valve, faulty coil?? help me out here. thank you

    #1 choices: idle control valve or the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail. LOOK FOR: Vacume leak?, dirty throttle body? mine was doing the same thing it was a vacume leak. simple things first, check all vac lines , connections to Idle control valve; both electric and air hose to that part.

      drop out 700

      I stand corrected yess the part is called Idle control motor, it is the dohicky hanging under the intake manafold with a hose from the intake and one from the big black intake hose from intercooler, as well as an electic connection/plug in.
