O2-sensor 900 1996

My O2-sensor died, I bought a new unoriginal, and replaced it.The new sensor gives 0,7volts, but when I connect the wires to the ECU theres 0volt.It smokes like hell.No fault codes.Anyone who can help me??

What kind of sensor did you buy? did it plug right in or did you have to solder the wires?

4 wire or three wire, i forget. was that the right part number for the vehicle?? how's your AMM?? how is on cold starts, hot starts, and how well does the o2 signal sweep?? it could be bad, or your computer could be bad, or your AMM could be bad!!
