Quick fix for an automatic transmission line? 200

Good evening everyone! I'm looking for a quick fix for an automatic transmission
line. I just want to move it about 30km to a friends house. I have tried splicing a rubber hose onto the already existing steel line but there seems to be too much pressure and it still sprays everywhere. Any ideas? Any help would be great. Thanks ahead of time!

Proper diameter fuel hose material and a pair of clamps should do it.

This is a common preventative maintenance repair used by independent shops here to avoid the hard line chafing that occurs where both lines run through that metal bracket screwed to the frame. they remove the bracket, splice the lines, then fasten them using plastic wire ties.

I'd try a compression fitting. The parts store may have some with their assortment of fittings.
And if it doesn't work, at least it was quick and didn't cost much!
    Best of luck.

Not that much pressure in there. Get a snug fitting hose and use 2 clamps on each side of the splice. You want at least an inch of tube inside the hose.

Exactly. Fuel line is the same line that they use on Tranny cooler kits, which connect via a rubber hose. USE GOOD CLAMPS!!!

...I have a funny story about being 13, doing a burnout infront of my house and the tranny line blowing off...in front of my house...
