Turbo gauge hose?? need quick response 700 1990

Which small hose on the intake manifold is the turbo gauge hose? (looking from overhead from the right side of the car) there are 2 with clips, then one beside these on the right that lacks a clip. Which hose is it, top one, bottom one, or the one to the right? Need fairly quick response because it is raining outside and my car is in the garage, my parents will be home fairly soon and will make me move out of the garage. I've been trying to solve why I'm only getting about half as much boost as I should be getting. I checked the air cleaner and all intake hoses today for leaks and in the case of the air cleaner, plugged filter. All hoses are fine and the filter looks new. I still need to check the turbo gauge hose for leaks. I've looked in the FAQ and can't find anything about its location.

    you can trace the turbo vacuum line from the firewall to the intake manifold to tell for sure (I'd go look, but its cold outside ;).

    The hose enters the engine compartment through the firewall right in front of the driver (behind the drivers side front tire well). Additionally, you should note that there is a split in the hose (T) in the dash that has a tendency to come loose if you haven't repaired it in the past. This can cause the gauge to malfunction, etc.

    Pull the dash/console and follow the hose off the turbo gauge about 1.5 feet in... you'll see a second hose split off the main one via a plastic T. It can get lubed/greasy and slide off. Use some wire to make a clamp to hold it on.

      Thanks guys. I did move the car out of the garage already and I'll get that checked another time...the problem is the car doesn't feel like it's getting the 6.5 to 7.5LBS boost it should be. My dad's former 90 745T felt more powerful. The other 760Ts and one 745TI looked at felt more powerful as well. Could 250345 miles have anything to do with that? I recall that 745T having around 85000 when he sold it. The 745T I looked at/ test drove had 195000 and the 89 765T had 177000 and was a bit too expensive. The 88 764T had an overboost problem, and 263000 on it. That one had too many problems, walked away. The 745T was too expensive. The 90 764T was priced right, ran good with no problems, tranny shifted smoother than any of the others I looked at. Plus, it was our 7 year trusted mechanic's "wifemobile"...and he did all the work on it, so we would have no doubts about the car's history. Ended up with that one.

      Basically my question is what the culprit could be. There is NO excessive noise from the turbo, NO smoke coming from the exhaust, NO weird smells, etc. The turbo is very quiet and responsive, just doesn't seem to give enough boost. Maybe 4 or 5PSI at best. Could this be just an improper wastegate setting or something wrong with the actuator hose?

    The lowest nipple is normally connected to the vacuum/boost gauge. When I bought the 744T my son drives, it performed normally, but showed almost no boost. It turned out the hose had a 1 inch split in it just under the intake manifold. It was sealed under vacuum, but would open under boost (pressure).

    Better get that car out of the garage!
