oil sender location 200

Pulled a 5 bar gauge from 84 turbo yesterday. It looks pretty crowded in the engine bay and I couldn't find the sender, it didn't appear to be where the NA sender is under cylinder 1 and 2 aft of the alternator. Any thoughts on other locations? Thanks in advance-told 3 people about the BB.

Make sure you get the thread adapter when you get the sender. It has a different thread then the regualar idiot light sender. Also some models may need an elbow adapter for the sender to fit. Maybe thats why you could not find it.. you didn't recognize it. Its about 4 times bigger then the normal one and gets in the way of things. Its not really practical to get the harness, as it is part of the engine harness. Much easier to just run a wire to the right fender.

It is right next to the oil filter"aft of the alternator".It should have 2 spade connectors on it, one for the warning light and one for the sender.Get the harness while your at it.
