86 740 turbo still not working is there a shop out there 700

Hello again, I'm still having problems with my 86' 740 turbo and I don't know what else to do about it.
I was told that the throttle body might need to be cleaned, but I don't know what that item looks like or where it's located.
I can't get it to the shop, since I don't believe it make a 200 mile trip.
It seems that the motor's strong, but I'm having other problems that I can't put my finger on with out having to start buying one thing after another. I been there and it was to costly to keep going at that pace, but I've put on a new fuel pump and filter, a new hose going to the turbo and the small one running off the turbo hose, and I'm at a lose now and am seeking your help.
I checked the air mass meter and it seems to be working and all the holes seem to be intack, no leaks that I can find.
When the car is running it sometimes seems to take a deep breathe and sometimes it dies, but now it's doing it when I'm driving. I die the other day while I was driving and it wouldn't start.
I need help and this is the only place that I have that I can turn to.

Julio, did you see where I had said it was surging.
It can be idling and then the rmp goes up to about 2 thous rpm and then drops all the way down. Most of the time when it does this the car dies. Now it has started doing the same thing when I'm driving.
