1989 740T - Brake lights (all 3) AND directional signals are not working. Running lights and backup lights are OK. Help ??

It could be a bad relay. Do the hazards operate?

Looks like it's 2 separate problems, If I wiggle the flasher unit on the relay board, the turn signals (& hazards) work - no joy with the brake lights. I've checked all the fuses, bulbs, wiring, & ground points in the back. I'm thinking either brake light switch or the bulb failure relay.

Fixed. It was indeed 2 problems. Replaced flasher relay, and replacing the bulb warning relay fixed the brake lights.
