Antifreeze? 900 1991

Well my heater core went in late October/early November. I've been reading about problems that the floor plan corroding from the antifreeze. It is just now being fixed, should I worry about my floor plan? And what about the mats and carpet how to go about cleaning them?

Thanks!!

You can remove the mats and carpet (pull the front seats to do that: see the FAQ for instructions) and clean them using a car wash spray wand and some Resolve or the like, or a rental steam cleaner. Just make sure they and the pads are dry before reinstallation. If you have rust on the floor pan, use POR-15 rust paint (from www.ipdusa.com) to remove.
