Ground for Interment cluster 200 1986

Were is the Ground for Interment cluster
my temp & Gas guage read off then back to normal after I hit the dash
and the radio is off station when this happens

Ground for Interment cluster 200 1986

It is common for the 'ground' to fail on the instrument panel PCB on 86-88 models. My '86 was afflicted with this. however, if the ground goes then the tacho and time clock usually fail or intermittently cease to function. This can be remedied by running a custom earth lead from the body of the time clock to a suitable eart point.
No siree, I think it more likely that your voltage regulator/stabiliser thingy could be at fault.

Yes the clock dies also tht why i think it the ground. As soon as this happens
the radio will act as if it will not bring in the station and if i turn up the fan setting it gets a little worst

The ground is through pin 34 in the half moon shaped connector.

The gas and temp gauges have a separate voltage regulator. It can go on the fritz and I think it can be repaired. Look in the 700/900 FAQ section.

but if the ground goes so does the gas and temp right ?
also when this happens the clock stops and the speedo act a little ifie
it will read normal but at a stop a little forward movement will make it spike
Now when the all in normal the the speedo, clock, gas, temp, radio, act as it should.
