How to remove 760T headlights??? 700 1990

I need to swap out a headlight assembly in my 1990 760T. My Chilton manual is of no assistance (surprise). Can anyone tell me where it is attached? Thanks.

If you are replacing a headlamp assembly, better get 4 of the little ballcage plastic fasteners that clip the headlight glass to the headlamp assembly. They will undoubtedly break when you pull out the glass. They are about $3 apiece.

Be patient and don't force anything-- some of the plastic parts get a little brittle with age.

John,

Do you need to remove just the headlight, or the entire fog light/headlight assembly (frame and all)? If you are removing the entire unit, there are two bolts behind the grille and two behind the corner light. If removing just the headlight, the adjusters must be turned and turned until finally, the light just falls out (at least thats the only way I have found to do it). I hope this helps!
