fried, the second module shows no signs of failure but I cannot adjust the

idle correctly..grounding # 10 blu/wht..Is it the module?? Thanks..

How is your wire harness? I mean I have seen dead CIS idle modules, but they didn't just fry themselves, usually a short in the wire harness did them in. Unplug at firewall and module connectors and start metering. Are you following the Bentley procedure for base idle adjust?

Re: CIS module 85 245GLT 200 1985

When I had trouble with the idle on my '82 turbo, it turned out to be an intermittent throttle switch. Even though it always clicked, sometimes it didn't make electrical contact, sometimes it did. A replacement switched solved it.
