b23f/b21f bellhouse

i am curious as to whether or not there is any difference between the b23f bellhousing and a b21f bellhousing. im asking because there is b23f engine with and auto tranny on it and i have a b21f with an m45, could i just swap engines without any mods? let me know thanx - john

    Remove the auto trans pilot bushing and flex plate. Install manual trans pilot bearing and flywheel, good to go. No other mods needed. Same bell housing mounting.

    not 100% sure but the auto trans may have a bushing rather than a bearing in the back of the crank- that's an issue.

    The bellhousing for the B21, B23 and B230 are all the same UNLESS there is an RPM sensor which the B23 does not have so don't worry.
