Voltage,OD,Oil Sender,Thermistat ?'s 200 90

Good Morning Bricksters.(Esp.Don,Abe,SteveR.,MittenHead)

1. I have a unit that draws 3 volts. What to place between +12V battery and unit to get constant +3V (resistors,rheostat,12MegaJoule Cyclatron..).RadioShack wants $22 for cig lighter plug-in.

2. AW70 Xmission.Need to service OD solenoid. Would a 12mm "crows foot"wrench work.Seems better/easier than putting 2 90deg. bends in a long 12mm wrench handle.

3. How many threaded holes in block with access to oil.Want to put oil pressure sender in and keep idiot light operable.Can't find T-adaptor(even at www.autometer.com).

4. Replaced thermistat.1st time.Getting reading from temp gauge for 10-15 minutes,then slowly drops to 0 reading. [A] Think of thermistat shape as kid's top.Does bottom of top go toward block?Bentley no help. [B] Need access to temp comp. board. Trouble seperating inst. cluster housing + green circuit board. Also,are seperate components testable/replaceable? Where best ($) to find new TC Board? TIA
