fuel query 200 80

I have an 80' 242GT 2.3litre I was told that you can safely run premium unleaded through them is this a perminate fuel swap or only once in awhile to give an octane boost and clean her out a little?

    Just curious which engine you have?

    I don't think it would be "unsafe" to run premium. Not sure what you mean. Your car only needs a certain octane level to keep it from pinging/predetonating. Octane boost will not "clean her out a little". Use the recommended fuel. If your car pings move up to the next higher octane level.
