mirror/passenger side 700 90

I slammed the passenger door (not too hard) and the glass mirror fell to the ground. The housing is std electric control and remains intact. What is procedure for replacement. Was this a fluke? Or is it common? Any help/advice appreciated.

Re: mirror/passenger side 700 90

The mirror attaches by the round thing on the back of it. you line it up with thaever is on the housing, then put a small screwdriver thru the hole in teh bottom and turn the round thing a little way to fasten it. (sorry for the poor explination of the "thing")

anyhow, it was probably a fluke.

Re: mirror/passenger side 700 90

The mirror is secured by four small ears on the car side, which lock under a rotating ring with 4 slots which match the ears. Take a look at it. You can re-install the mirror by lining up the parts, and using a small screwdriver to rotate the ring once the mirror is in place. That is if nothing is broken.
