Need advice re buying 1990 or 1991 40DL 200 1990

I live in Hawaii and I have the choice of buying a 1990 cherry 240DL with only 50K miles on it for $6K. My other choice is a cherry 1991 240DL with 66K miles on it, however it has a new airconditioner with the converted non-cfc gas and CD player. If I buy the 1990 240, how long before anyone thinks I'll need to replace the airconditioner? What is the advantage of the 1990 over the 1991 model?
