Schematic or color-codes for AMM power. 200 1983-1984

Well after looking at my AMM more closely I see that the platinum wires are okay. So that leaves me with the question...What else can go bad in this thing? Anyhow, a few have suggested I may have a power issue to the AMM. I have no shop manual to go off of and need some input, please. I would like to verify operation of the AMM as well as the supporting functions. Can anyone lend a hand and tell me what to look for? I was told that the fuel relay has something to with the function of the AMM. Funny part is I may have an issue in that area. I checked the voltage off of the fuses to the fuel pump (in-tank) and get nothing (both before and after the fuses). Just a clean 0.00 Volt reading from my DMM. Now that is strange to me since I can drive the car with the AMM unplugged. Would it be safe to assume that I just read the voltage at the wrong time or when the fuel should have been off? Or could the circuit have an issue?

Anyhow...that's what I am planning on messing with tonight. Any and all help is wonderful. Thanks again all!

Prospero
