Rear Headrest Interchangeable 700 91

Will rear headrest from 1986 760 fit a 1991 740 wagon? I need one of the headrest and there is Ebay auction for a pair of them. Auction is ending soon, please help.

Re: Rear Headrest Interchangeable 700 91

I have 760 sedan headrests in my 760 wagon. They are not a perfest fit but only a volvo mechanic could tell other wise. The only concern would be that they have the right number of posts ie if there is one hole in you seat for the head rest and the headrests have one post you should be allright. I had to put a little tape on one headrest to keep it from rattling. The major dif between sedan and wagon rear headrests is that the sedans have a lip that wraps around the seat slightly and the wagons don't. After my headrest ebay purchase I found that there are alot of headrests for very cheap in Junkyards.

Thank you for the replies guys. Based on your experience sedan headrest will not fit wagon. Seller is not returning my email in regards to whether the headrest she is selling came from a sedan or wagon. No response = No purchase. Oh well, at least this gives me an excuse to go the Pick N Pull.

I don't believe the wagon and sedan rear headrests will interchange.
