1990 740 shuts down 700 1990

My 1990 740 GL w/ 125K has cut off a couple of times in the last few weeks when I'm idleing. The car starts back up with no difficulty. There is no prior indication that it is about to stop. Any ideas?

Do the fuel pre-pump check as defined in the 7xx/9xx FAQ section of this site. Might be a sarvation problem, althought I'm not sure this wuld affect the car when it is idling only. Does this happen when the tank is full?

Also might want to check the fuel relay (2nd row on the left, white rectangular relay) and maybe the fuel regulator? You can find info on all this in the FAQ section.
