what does the thick silver ground wire ground? 200 82

hey brick,

i just noticed that the braided silver wire from firewall to valve cover was broken. would this cause my right headlight fuse to keep popping and fuel pump relay to get hot?

no but it may be indicative of a not so well maintained car and it may cause a bit more radio static. Install a new one. This is NOT your main engine ground.

Headlight fuse will require tracing and fault finding.........to get to the short.

FP relays get hot, resolder it....and check all the connections and your fuel pump.
