Turn Signal Flasher 700 1988

Hey

In our 1988 760, the turn signals have decided to stop blinking. The turn signals come on, but they don't blink. I'm guessing this has something to do with the flasher unit, but I have no idea where that is. The Haynes manual shows it as being relay G, but after some testing and stuff, I discovered that relay G is the overdrive relay. Thanks in advance..

Re: Turn Signal Flasher... As Don Foster Writes 700 1988

It's here. Take it out, open it up and resolder it. That should do the trick.

The relays in our 1988 760 Turbo are mounted on a vertical board beside the passenger side foot storage...place. You have to remove a plastic cover to get to them. In the FAQ, someone asks about a UK model with the relays in the same spot and they list all the relays but none are the flasher unit. Please let me know if you have any idea where that little flasher thing is. Thanks!
