Headliner material 700 1990

Anyone who has actually done a headliner know where to get material with the 1/8" foam? A number of on-line sellers have said they have suitable material but who knows - and it's non returnable if it doesnt work.

Thanks in advance for reply.

Bob

Re: Headliner material 700 1990

Bob,

Call the guys at West Coast Auto Upholstery, (503) 771-5469. They're located here in Portland, OR, but I'm sure they'll ship anywhere.

I got 1/8 foam-backed headliner material for my '90 745Ti in dark gray (it was white, and pretty grungy thanks to the P/O). Paid $65 for all the materials, and could have bought the infamous 3M 90 adhesive (strongest stuff know to modern man) for $14 more, but didn't need it because I had some series 80 3M spray adhesive at home.

Anyway, give them a call and see if they can help you out. They had about 8 or more different colors to choose from, including black, gray, dark gray, off white, and dark blue... all colors that should match your Volvo's interior.

Good luck

Get two cans of adhesive though. I ran out half way through.

Re: Headliner material 700 1990

IPD has recently started to sell headliner kits for 700 wag and sedans approx. $100.00. They work well. I tried a couple of substances before that with varying success on 240 's. Nothing I would recommend.
