How to remove the clutch throwout bearing? 200 81

I'm almost ready to swap M46s in my '81 245. In prepping the new one, I wanted to remove the clutch throwout bearing and put my old (only 3 years) bearing in its place when I get the old trans out on Thursday. But...I must be blind or something, but I can't see how to remove the bearing from the throwout arm. Bentley is silent, and Haines mentions something about a spring clip, but there's no diagram, and I can't see what it is I'm looking for.

Could someone please shed some light on this for me. Thanks a million!

Rob

Re: How to remove the clutch throwout bearing? 200 81

On my M46 from an 82DL, there is a small bolt on the outside of the bell housing which holds the release fork at the pivoting end. By unscrewing the bolt you can move the fork out enough that the bearing slides off the shaft, then the bearing just slips off the fork. That's on my limited experiance though.
