Quick relay question-terminals 700 88

Hi there. I'm just preparing to swap in my new rad with electric primary fan. I'm doing the wiring and I'm not sure about the terminals on the relay. The low current positive will come off the coil to the relay. I know which two terminals are for the relay activation but I don't know which is positive or negative. Does it matter? Inside the relay is the electromagnetic coil, the negative and positive hook up to that coil, so which side of the coil should be negative/positive?

I hope that's not too confusing. An answer like "Don't matter" will do.

Thanks,

Rene

Re: Quick relay question-terminals 700 88

In most cases, it doesn't matter if there is no diode. Most relays terminal 30 is battery, 85 positive, 86 negative, and 87 output power to the component
