ABS sensors won't come off 900 91

I need to clean my ABS sensors on my 91 940T. I managed to loosen the allen screws, but couldn't get the sensors out. I worked one side loose but not all the way out; the other side was completely stuck & I couldn't even budge it. I took an enthusiatic pair of vice grips to it, but stopped for fear of damaging the sensor. I used about 3/4 of a can of brake cleaner - didn't help much. Anyone know any tricks/tools for popping those suckers out? Thanks in advance for any help.

    Soak em down good with penetrating oil and keep working them back and forth. It may take some time, but they should come out. Alternative if all you want to do is clean them, is to remofe the rotors. The sensor ends are accessible with the rotors off.
