engine compatability

I have a 1978-80 pontiac grande lemans with a 305

and I'm just wondering what types of trucks or jeeps would the engine fit in quite easily.

how difficult would it be to put it in an older isuzu extended cab

also , the engine hasn't run for about 7 years but it's full of all fluids should i do any prep. before i try to start it

about what is the engine worth?

an answer to any of my questions would be greatly appreciated.

    why are you here?

You talk about Pontiac, trucks, and jeeps. This is a Volvo board.

Your Pontiac 305 is likely actually a Chevrolet 305. This means you can put it in a Volvo 240 or 740.

We don't know much about trucks or jeeps. We know about Volvos

Are you trying to put this engine in a Volvo?

This is a Volvo board. The engine may fit a rwd volvo, but no one I've seen has put that engine in one. Try and test it out and post your results.
