Haynes manual for '89 ??? 700 89

Amazon.com's listing for the Haynes manual for the 740 shows it limited to '82-'88.

Is there one out there that covers the '89 ?

I am in a similar boat (brick). I have a 1990 760 and can not find a good manual for it. I tried the Chiltons but it is a piece of trash. The Haynes and Bentley don't cover this year. So what are guys like us to do?

I can't recommend using the '88 Haynes manual for your '89. There were several changes for '89 that won't show up in the Haynes (such as the front wheel bearings, the removal of Hall Effect sensor on N/A cars in favor of RPM sensor, etc.). I have the Chilton's that covers '89 ... and I would recommend the Bentley manual sight unseen.

Bentley doesn't make one for a 740. Chilton has 90-93. I guess you're screwed....

Haynes has a UK edition that spans 83-92 740's. May want to check on that.
