b230 to b23 motor swap advice needed 700 85

Ok here is the situation

I have a 1985 740 non turbo and I have the cahnce to get a motor from a 1983 240. I want to know if I can still use my head, computer, intake and all other electronics and distributer on the short block of the b23. So basiclly can I swap one bottom end for the other with no other things needed?

You can plug the B23 distributor hole with a plug from Volvo or you can make one or you can leave the old distributor there to confuse others.

Don't know if the old B23 has a knock sensor, I think a hole can be tapped as perviously mentioned. BTW: The water pump is different:(
