Does anyone have a schematic for my 740t 700 1991

.....

I have a 1991 740t that does not have functioning break lights. The tail lights come one with the rest of the lights and there is no light out symbol on the dash, I checked the fuse under the radio- its ok... Recently I had it at a place called the Sweedish Pit because the abs light was on and the interior light wasnt working, they replaced some fuses- I dont know which ones (and when I went back to ask I was rudely told to leave or make an appointment) and now the interior light works and there is no abs light, however I suspect the abs may not be functioning - I am waiting to test that theory in full next time it snows. So if anybody has any ideas I'd like to hear them, I know I cant expect much since my former service center refused to disclose what labor they performed. Any help will be appriciated...

thanks

-seth

Re: Does anyone have a schematic for my 740t 700 1991

Seth go down this brickboard to a POST called "No lights" take a look at my response.

IF the harness is the same ot the bulb failure sensor then if you jump the yellow with the yellow/silver trace to the blue with red trace...you are in.

But that is on my '89 240.

It's easy enough to look at the wire coming off the brake switch and go into the trunk and follow the circiut board/socket and see what color wires are yours.

I don't have anything on the 700's but after I bought my manual I found that my library had large books with the wiring in them...for a Volvo no less.
