oil - what is the best to use 700 1987

I have been considering using Casterol oil in my 740GLE to reduce oil vapor. What are some others thoughts on this. Curious!

If you have an "oil vapor" problem (presumably showing up in the throttle body and other colder engine parts) then try a synthetic such as Mobil 1 5W-30.

Steve, I just had a plugged ventilation box. I don't think that should be regular maintenance. Reducing the oil vapor might help minimize ventillation problems in the future. Thanks for your suggestion on Mobil 1, I haven't heard alot about it before.
