TRS-USA engines ALL

I just found the web page for TRS-USA. They had all kinds of cool stuff and I was wondering if anybody has any experience with them. Their "B24" and "B22" pushrod engines sounded perfect for my '68 142. Any info appreciated.

DISCLAIMER: I have no personal experience dealing with Topi. His parts make me drool. But here is an example of one person's experience with TRS-USA - Dealing with Topi

Re: TRS-USA engines ALL

From what I can find out, Topi does great work and is highly

regarded. One caveat though, and he himself warned me about

it: His stuff is for COMPETITION and I don't mean casual

stoplight drags. I think if you put one of his engines in

your car and give it to your wife to drive the kids to nursery

school and to the mall, you are destined for problems. If you

want to drive from San Diego to Jacksonville in 28 hours or less,

and have good oil company credit, his might be the engine for you.

For my own lead-footedness, a near-stock engine with some porting

and a street perf cam and lifter kit has worked well and surprised

a lot of bystanders. It's a LOT cheaper too.
