Are Nissens radiators aftermarket in Volvos? 200 1989

Or did they come from the factory with them, Spotted an 85 740 in the boneyard with one in it, looked to be in good condidition and i've read they are a good radiator to have. The 740 and 240 take the same rad don't they?. If so i figured i'd get it and keep it as a spare. Had a Nissens sticker on it, believe it said it was made in Finland...... Tom Wasney 240aholic

Jay -- it really is Nissen. It's a Danish company, I believe, not Finnish. Great radiator.

That was an aftermarket radiator for sure. The original 200/700 rads are the same with the plastic tanks.

My dad's 940 has a nissens replacement radiator that looks to be identical to the 240 fit.
