How to Convert Wire Thk(mm) to "Gauge" ALL 90

Bentley (and Haynes) use thickness (mm) as wire size in the electrical schematics. How to convert to gauge, since this is how you discern it at the hardware stores?

I have a conversion chart:

1.0 mm 18ga

1.5 mm 14ga

2.5 mm 10ga

4.0 mm 6ga

These are the sizes I have seen most frequently in Haynes. of course there are larger around battery, starter etc. Let me know if you need other sizes.

If in doubt on a particular wire size just go larger, can't hurt.
