need cheap 740 frt pipe

Does any one know a good source for a front exhaust pipe for a 89 740 non turbo? The dealer wants a lot of money and the local parts store cannot get me one, has anyone found a inexpensive source for these?

We had a "Bosal" front pipe installed in our 1994 940, which I think is exactly the same as far as exhaust is concerned. It was about half the price of a Volvo one and the mechanic thought it was quite well made.

Check out your oxygen sensor location and get a blanking plug with the pipe if yours is in the cat not the front pipe, because the Bosal pipe has a hole for the sensor.

Try a bone yard for an organ donor. These are sometimes referred to as "recycled" parts.
