I remember seeing a photo of a 740 front end with a pickup truck bed. It looked like a factory quality job but I cannot find any reference to a production vehicle. Did Volvo ever manufacture such a vehicle or did I see a one of a kind creation?

While in Sweden a couple of years ago I saw a flatbed wrecker made from an 850 Turbo. It had dual rear axles and was long enough to carry an 850 or 240.

The 850 PU with aluminum checker plate bed is a kit according to a Swede friend. I saw a few of those around Gothenburg and Torslanda.

Anybody know the source of the black 940 PU? That one intrigues me as I could put my hands on a wagon that has had a tree fall on rear section of roof.
