850 &740 15" wheels interchamgeable? 700 90

Thank you for your info.Thinking about getting snow tire wheels.Info re 740 at carpart places/charts are becoming extinct.

    How come Costco and Wallmart list Palmar wheels #99111 for 240,740,760,850?Again many thanks for explaining to the ignorant.

    How come both Costco(out of stock anyways) and Wallmart list Palmar wheels #99111 as the suitable wheel?Again,many thanks for elucidating among the ignorant.

    The simple answer is no, but it is possible. The 850 ('94-on) and 740 use the same bolt pattern, but a different offset which requires a spacer with longer wheel studs to fit wheels from any FWD Volvo onto a 740. There's no reason to go to that much trouble for snow wheels/tires. Try to find a junkyard to get some cheap steel wheels.
