Mystery Hoese under rear deck >THIS POST< 200 80

Inside of my trunk I noticed there are some clear yellow tinted hoses that are on either side of the trunk just below the rear deck. What do these do?? I also was wondering why my rear "demister" may not be working. There dont appear to be any cracks in the brown eletrical wires in the window. What could it be..the fuse is ok I belive since the overdrive runs on this one as well.

Any Ideas here??

thanks

Adam

I think the hoses are just drains used to eliminate the rain who enters the vent below the rear window

for your rear defogger, mine stops working regularly. Each time, I brush the fuse to make it work. (this device uses much current so the fuse seems to corrode quicker than the others. Oxydoreduction of humidity?? Remembering my last year chimestry classes) Stainless fuses should fix it.

But if your fuse is okay, check your switch. These ones are very easy to pull out for a test.

Are the '80 have the timed defogger or it's just an on/off switch?
